Meet Your Hosts
Muletown Farm is a hidden gem in Columbia, Tennessee that offers the beauty of yesteryear while still providing the conveniences of today. Originally established in the early 1800s by the Armstrong family, this farm spans 31 acres of rolling hills and breathtaking views. In 2017, the Brown family purchased the farm and has since dedicated themselves to extensive efforts in preserving the old barns and log cabins, making the farm one of Columbia’s greatest reminders of a bygone era. Their dream was to create a space where families and friends could come together to enjoy each other’s company and find deep rest in the peaceful countryside of Middle Tennessee. In 2018, the Browns began opening the farm for nightly rentals, family reunions, events and photography.

Muletown Farm has been lovingly preserved to create a space for kids to freely chase curiosity, dogs to play fetch until their tongues can’t be rolled back into their mouths and for families to sit around a bonfire and connect away from the everyday pressures of life. Our family lives out of town so we understand how hard it is to find a place that allows you to be in wide open spaces with your kids, your extended family and your beloved pets while traveling. Whether you’re visiting family here in Columbia, enjoying the Nashville scene or exploring all Middle Tennessee has to offer, you and your family are welcome here.
